The staff of EUPHONIA believes that art has the capacity to bring a transforming and socially constructive message to children and young adults. Through music, many children and young people in Colombia can discover new ways to develop their potential. By focusing on Colombian children, EUPHONIA aims to promote self-worth and confidence
The small yellow-bellied bluebird, euphonia, has been chosen by the organization as a logo to reflect our belief that music can play an important role in people’s lives.
OUR MISSION
Through the diffusion of musical practice:
To inspire children, young people, and the most vulnerable to become aware of their own importance and to strive to develop their potential despite an adverse environment.
To arouse awareness amongst the public and relevant private and public sectors about cultural and social issues, encouraging them to embark on the quest for solutions.
OUR VISION
To finance socially-focused artistic projects that offer children and young adults from marginalized populations enriching cultural experiences.
To establish links between historically marginalized communities through music in post-conflict Colombia.
To establish and strengthen a network of professionals and communities to enhance their capacity to propose and advocate for feasible solutions to social concerns.
